Years later and the ending to this anime still pisses me right the fuck off. I mean, after Simon went through all that crap to save Nia and get her back only to immediately lose her, especially after all the "screw destiny" speeches, was nothing short of a huge middle finger right in the audience's face. I know that if I was in Simone's place, I would have said fuck it all and start laying waste to everything around me.
